The Danish New Music Academy is a five day residential new music course that will be held in Aarhus, July 2022. INU4 collective will gather together ten early-career musicians (five composers, five performers) for five days of concerts, seminars, workshops, and rehearsals, that aim to create and explore new relationships between composers, musicians, and audiences.

With a strong focus on music creation and learning-by-doing, the Danish New Music Academy aims to strengthen the new music community, and to create new relationships and connections that will have long-lasting effects on the music scene.

Alongside the ten participants, every year INU4 will invite two established composers/performers as visiting artists. In 2022, the two visiting artists will be Juliana Hodkinson (chair of the Danish Composer's Society, associate professor at Griegakademiet in Bergen and Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium in Aarhus) and Jeppe Just Christensen (associate professor at Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium in Copenhagen).
